What’s the best thing about being a Bulldog?
Other than working for the Hub for Black Affairs and Community Engagement, it’s the connections. Butler alums are everywhere and love helping other bulldogs.

What’s your favorite student activity?
My favorite student activity is hanging out with my friends in the Efroymson Diversity Center.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spots on campus are the Hub for Black Affairs and Community Engagement (The Hub), Irwin Library, and the sunroom in Jordan Hall. I absolutely love studying with friends in these spots because the scenery is the perfect balance of relaxing and stimulating.

Which faculty member has inspired you the most?
The faculty member that has inspired me the most is Dr. Terri Jett, followed by Alexis Newell, Dr. Teigha VanHester, and Dr. Terri Carney. Dr. Jett and Alexis from The Hub opened my mind to possibilities I had never thought of. Dr. Teigha provided the right support at a time I needed it the most, and Dr. Carney helped me make sense of all my double-major credit hours. These experiences have truly taught me the importance of having a community in your corner.

What do you want to do upon graduation?
I plan on pursuing a doctorate in counseling psychology and continuing to grow my media and production brand, Victory the Creator.
