What were you involved with during high school? Please provide a few details about your involvement.
I played hockey and lacrosse throughout high school. I played varsity lacrosse for all four years and I played hockey for two years. I was the yearbook photographer for my school my senior year.
How did you first hear about Butler and what interested you in the University?
I heard about Butler from lacrosse and recruiting when coach Pilson first reached out to me. I started asking around and many people from my school and hometown had a lot of good things to say about Butler. I then decided to tour and I absolutely loved the campus and feel of the school. The smaller school with big school pride is what I loved about it.
What is your favorite part about Butler?
My favorite part about Butler is the people. When I toured there were so many friendly faces. I went on my official visit where I stayed overnight with players from the lacrosse team. I had a blast, everyone that I met was so friendly and welcoming.
Why did you ultimately decide to choose Butler?
I decided on Butler because of what I stated before, the people. My soon-to-be classmates and professors will be the people I will be spending the most time with in my next four years. When I came to campus, I felt at home with the place and the people.
What do you hope to get involved with or be a part of at Butler?
I will be on the lacrosse team which will be taking up a lot of my spare time. I can’t wait to meet the whole team and play with them. I will be majoring in Health Sciences so I hope to continue my path on that route and I know I will find many opportunities through Butler on that path.
What are you most excited about?
I am most excited about the people I will meet and the memories I will make. I have talked to many people who graduated from Butler and some that still attend. I have heard so many stories and memories and I can’t wait to make some for myself.
