What were you involved in during high school?
I was involved in cross country, track, student council, National Honor Society, French club, Girl Scouts, and I was a math tutor and a senior mentor for freshman orientation.

How did you first hear about Butler, and what interested you in the University?
I decided to shadow a PA, and she talked about going to PA school at Butler. I decided to visit and ended up loving Butler. I love the size of the campus, the fraternity and sorority life, the hundreds of study abroad options, and all the professors I’ve met in the Chemistry department. Butler also has a presence in the medical field, which will provide me with research, internships, or shadowing opportunities that relate to my future career.

What do you hope to get involved with on campus?
I hope to join the Butler Run Club, sorority life, and the Butler Catholic Community. I would like to find other clubs and organizations that will help me find new interests or continue old ones.

What are you looking forward to most while being a student at Butler?
I’m looking forward to joining the Butler community in general. I am excited to make new friends and discover new things about myself now that I will be away from my family. I can’t wait to live in the Butler residence halls and to learn about subjects that truly interest me.

What advice would you give to other students starting their college search?
My biggest piece of advice would be to consider all your options. The truth is, you’re never going to know what things you are looking for in a college until you visit and immerse yourself in that college’s campus. When setting up my visit to Butler, I wasn’t expecting much to come from it, but it was the first step in convincing me that Butler was my perfect home for the next four years.
