The Butler University Alumni Association (BUAA) recently welcomed seven new members to its Board of Directors. The new members began a four-year term in June and will attend their first quarterly BUAA Board meeting later this month. The BUAA, in partnership with the Office of Butler Community Engagement, serves as a champion of alumni engagement by inspiring alumni and friends to share their time, talent, and treasure to advance Butler’s Mission and Vision.
“We are thrilled to welcome seven new members to the Butler University Alumni Association Board of Directors,” BUAA President Kendall Brehm ’17 said. “This commendable group of Board members brings enthusiasm, volunteerism, experience and a strong affinity for The Butler Way. These individuals will commit selflessly to the Alumni Association, consistently seek improvement for the betterment of our community, and advance Butler University’s mission.”

Nominations for board membership are accepted throughout the year. Self-nominations are encouraged. New members begin their four-year terms at the beginning of the academic calendar following the election. To nominate a graduate for the Alumni Association Board of Directors, please submit a nomination online. The deadline for nominations is October 31 for terms beginning the following June.
