Five Butler University alumni landed on Indianapolis Business Journal’s (IBJ) prestigious “Forty Under 40” list in 2025. They are: Ira Maher MBA ’15 (LSB), Brad Vogelsmeier ’13 (LAS), Ryan Waggoner ’10 (CCOM), Jessica Warnke MBA ’20 (LSB), and Brittney Yocum ’10 (LSB).
Each year, IBJ accepts nominations from the community for its “Forty Under 40” list. Anyone working in Marion and the surrounding counties and under 40 on the day of publication is eligible; most honorees are nominated by their employer. Nominations are judged on specific examples of leadership and achievement. This is the 33rd year IBJ has published the list.
