Butler University and Hylant Group, Inc. have formalized a tuition discount partnership that creates new academic pathways for Hylant employees pursuing undergraduate and graduate education at Butler. Effective January 1, 2026, the agreement provides waived application fees and a 10 percent tuition award for eligible employees admitted to select degree programs, strengthening opportunities for professional advancement through Butler’s academic offerings.
“Hylant has emerged as a Key Strategic Partner because of its multiple points of engagement with the University; alignment with Butler’s innovation, talent, and community priorities; and measurable impact,” said Melissa Beckwith, Butler’s Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. “Hylant’s extensive engagement at Butler spans experiential learning for LSB students, a tuition discount partnership for Hylant employees, philanthropic support of student scholarship, partnership on Healthy Costs Innovation Challenges, the Hylant MBA Capstone, and supporting Butler’s employee benefits program. Mutual benefit and success across these efforts have resulted in a desire for continued partnership by both organizations.”
The Hylant employee tuition discount partnership applies to several Butler programs aligned with workforce and leadership development, including Organizational Leadership, an online bachelor’s completion program for students with 60 or more credits seeking a streamlined path to finishing their degree, as well as online graduate programs in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Sports Management, and Risk and Insurance.
In addition to financial benefits for Hylant employees, the agreement supports coordinated outreach efforts, allowing Butler to engage directly with Hylant employees through recruitment events and shared communications.
The partnership builds on a longstanding relationship between Butler and Hylant—one rooted in experiential learning, innovation, and shared success—and reflects a continued commitment by both organizations to invest in talent and strengthen the connection between education and industry.
