Orr Fellowship, an early career development program for versatile high-achievers and future-focused businesses in Indiana, announced today a partnership with the Andre B. Lacy School of Business at Butler University that guarantees Orr Fellowship alumni admission to the Butler MBA program.

As part of the Orr Fellowship partnership, the Butler MBA program offers the following benefits:

  • Six credits toward the Butler MBA electives.
  • Student’s choice of number of classes taken each semester, offered in fall, spring and summer.
  • Ability to finish in as little as two years or as long as five years.
  • Available online or on-campus with the same faculty for the same price, formatted and scheduled for working professionals.
  • Optional global business trips, including Germany and Prague in Fall 2025 and Singapore/Malaysia in Spring 2026.
  • The GMAT or GRE are not required.

“Orr Fellowship is designed for Fellows to have the tools they need to become adaptive, impactful and responsive leaders,” said Steven Emch, President of Orr Fellowship. “Partnering with Butler’s renowned MBA program furthers our mission to nurture the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. These individuals will positively impact the state of Indiana and the communities in which they live and work for years to come.”

Butler is a highly regarded private university in Indianapolis, ranking as the No. 1 Regional University in the Midwest by the 2025 U.S. News & World Report. The prestigious Butler MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) – one of less than 5% of business schools worldwide to have earned this accreditation.

“Orr Fellows are talented individuals with proven academic and workplace successes. They are often the ideal candidates we seek for the Butler MBA program,” said Luke Bickel, Senior Director of Graduate Programs for Butler University’s Lacy School of Business. “By guaranteeing their admission to the program, we recognize their existing skillsets and Orr Fellowship experience to further accelerate their careers.”

Orr Fellowship recruits, assesses and matches university graduates with high-agency roles in growing Indiana businesses. Together, Orr Fellowship and partner companies give graduates the professional development resources and support network they need to accelerate their careers. The program currently operates two chapters, one in Indianapolis and one in Evansville, Indiana.

The Butler MBA program accepts applications through December 1 for the spring semester and July 15 for the fall semester, pending available space in the cohort. Complete applications are reviewed on a monthly basis.

Orr Fellowship is currently accepting applications for its 2026 cohort of Fellows. College seniors who are anticipating graduation in the coming months or spring 2026 and are interested in pursuing Orr Fellowship can apply here.
