What are you doing post-graduation?
Post-graduation, I will move into my role as the full-time Game Operations Coordinator with the Indianapolis Indians minor league baseball team. I currently work part-time in the role as a member of the organization’s Marketing department.

How did Butler support you in finding this job?
I was hired full-time by the Indianapolis Indians after interning with the organization during my junior year. Butler helped me find and secure that initial internship position through connections I made and from classroom experiences that translated during the interview process and during the internship itself.

How did Butler prepare you for this next chapter in your life?
Butler has provided me with a well-rounded education that can be applied in the real world. I have also benefited from many professional connections that I know will continue to benefit me throughout my career.

What are your long-term career goals?
I would like to stay in the sports industry and evolve into new roles.

What are you going to miss most about your time at Butler?
I will miss campus life the most. Butler has such a lively atmosphere and a sense of community that I have really enjoyed.

What advice would you give a first-year student as you reflect on your time at Butler?
Do not be afraid to set some time aside for yourself for self-improvement, whether it be physically, mentally, or just finding time to do things you enjoy. I think it is important to find a good balance between work, school, and home, and Butler also has some great programs and facilities that can help with that which I wish I took advantage of earlier. Doing so makes the experience and time much more enjoyable.
