How would you describe what you do at Butler?
I oversee the annual University budgeting process including any budget changes needed throughout the year; I maintain the five-year financial model for future planning; and I supervise the Grants Financial Specialist position which is responsible for internal and external grant awards.

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is getting to work with lots of different individuals across campus! I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with faculty, staff, and students in various capacities and each interaction has helped me to grow in some way.

Share one thing that you are most proud of that you have accomplished here?
I am most proud of my work updating the University Contingency Tracking Worksheet to make it more efficient, straightforward, and logical.

What inspires you the most about working at Butler?
I am inspired knowing that I am making a difference in helping others to become more financially aware of their departmental/divisional budgets.

What is the best advice you can give someone who wants to work at Butler?
Stay positive, work hard, and make it happen.
