What is your favorite part of being a Butler student?
Growing up in the area, I was always aware of Butler and the strong connections in the area, but I knew that it was the place for me after my first visit to campus. I was overjoyed by the beautiful campus and how welcoming everyone was. I actually met my first-year roommate during my campus tour, and it was so amazing to leave Butler with a friend already!

What do you want to do after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on attending law school to specialize in environmental law.

What are you involved in on and off campus?
On campus, I am a member of many clubs and organizations. I serve as the Daily Visits and Events Student Assistant for the Office of Admission, President of the Ski Club, the Vice President of Marketing for Letters of Love, and a few more! Off campus, I volunteer with the MLK Community Center, and I love to frequent local restaurants!

How would you describe the Butler community?
If I had to describe the Butler community in one word, it would be driven. I come from a strong community, and I would not accept a campus that does not hold the same commitment. Butler has a strong, supportive community full of ambitious students who do not accept mediocrity. I cannot name a single student on campus who is not involved in some way on campus, dedicated to their studies, working a job, or doing all three. The staff and your peers will make sure you are performing to the best of your ability. Butler succeeds because the student body helps each other succeed.

What is your favorite study spot on campus?
My favorite study spots on campus are the second-floor rooms in Dugan Hall or the long tables in the Science Library!

In what ways has Butler helped you find your community?
Butler helped me find my community by providing so many opportunities to make connections. I met my neighbors and peers, connected with people who have similar interests as I do, and found a sense of community on campus through the events in my residence halls and by joining clubs. Additionally, the friendly nature of campus makes it so easy to simply walk up to people and say hi, and because of this I have felt very welcomed.

How would your friends describe you?
Anyone who knows me would describe me as passionate. I have a hard time doing anything halfway, and will talk your ear off about almost any subject. My friends would also describe me as very social and loyal—my friends are my whole world!
