What were you involved with during high school? Please provide a few details about your involvement.
 
During high school, I enjoyed participating in the band program as a trumpet player and drum major. My experience in band fueled my passion for music and encouraged me to become a music educator myself. Outside of school, I found joy and fulfillment in playing the piano and taking ballet classes at my local studio,

How did you first hear about Butler and what interested you in the University?
My ballet instructor, who was a Butler graduate, first introduced me to the University. She always spoke highly of her time at Butler and encouraged me to apply. After my first visit to campus, I fell in love with the school, too. The warm atmosphere and sense of community made me feel welcomed right away.

What is your favorite part about Butler?
My favorite part about Butler is the contagious school spirit and enthusiastic student body. Everyone I encounter has so much Butler pride and seems interested and engaged in their learning.

Why did you ultimately decide to choose Butler?
 I chose Butler because the school is a perfect fit. The academic offerings, beautiful campus, and phenomenal faculty make Butler feel like home and provide a warm learning and living environment in which I can thrive.

What do you hope to get involved with or be a part of at Butler?
I can’t wait to get involved in the Butler athletic bands. Marching band was a highlight of my high school experience and I’m excited to continue playing in band during college.

What are you most excited about?
I am most looking forward to meeting the community of other Butler students and immersing myself in my passions. I’m also excited to step out of my comfort zone and discover new interests.
