What were you involved in during high school?
I participated in voluntary work outside of school, and I also played soccer.

How did you first hear about Butler, and what interested you in the University?
Butler got in contact with me through soccer recruitment. I play soccer in Brazil, and I will be part of Butler’s Men’s Soccer team. As soon as I started to talk with faculty at Butler, I was interested. I am excited to be a part of the soccer team and to pursue my academics abroad.

What do you hope to get involved with on campus?
I look forward to being involved in my education by taking as many different classes as I can. I’m also looking forward to having the experience of living abroad, especially in the U.S., while accomplishing my goal of excelling academically and working hard to bring as much success as possible to Butler’s soccer team.

What advice would you give to other students starting their college search?
Take your time to look into all that Butler has to offer—the University has amazing programs, especially for International students like me.
