It’s hard to believe, but the Butler University Live Mascot Program has been going strong for 25 years. Since Butler Blue I’s debut in 2000, four Bulldogs have proudly carried the mantle of “Blue,” each leaving their own paw print on the University’s history.

For the past decade, Butler’s live mascot has been delivering life-changing news to high school seniors, surprising them at their doorsteps with their #ButlerBound admission packets. From wagging tails to joyous reactions, this beloved tradition continues to spread excitement and pride—one future Bulldog at a time.
