As a Sports Media major, Jia Skrudland ’26 enjoys having behind-the-scenes looks of game days interning with the professional ice hockey team, Indy Fuel. As the Game Operations Intern, she helps ensure game and fan engagement activities run smoothly.

In honor of Veteran’s Day, we celebrate current Bulldog, Caleb Ball ‘27. Stationed at Fort Liberty in North Carolina, he spent the last six years in the Army, now pursuing sports broadcasting.

With hopes to work in sports production, senior Ethan Polak is soaking up all of the knowledge he is learning this summer as a production assistant with the Chicago Cubs.

With an interest in both graphic design and racing, @ButlerCCOM student Chandler Hart is able to combine these passions in his internship with Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar. As a graphic designer intern, Chandler helps with social media and digital projects.

As a Game Production Assistant for the Indianapolis Indians, College of Communication student Eric Barnes was given hands-on experience by coordinating game scripts. After graduation, he’ll be working full-time as Game Operations Coordinator for the minor league team.
