Butler University is home to nearly 100 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipients. Recipient and incoming Bulldog, Megan Lambert, credits her hard work, dedication, and persistence for making her dream of attending Butler a reality.

At Butler, more than 75% of students hold at least one internship. Now completing her fourth internship, Grace Hensley’s ’25 role at Eli Lilly & Company gave her real-world experience that enhanced her problem-solving skills.

Interning at Roche, one of the world’s largest biotech companies, Lillian Chidester ’25 feels valued. She encourages her peers searching for internships to stay prepared, be persistent, apply, and network.

As a Consumer and Market Insights Intern at L’Oréal USA, Emma Garvey ’25 has spent the summer living and working in New York. She is glad to have left her comfort zone, feeling prepared and ready for a career in the beauty industry.

Interning at TechPoint, Ava Palo ’26 has developed her creative and analytical skills, creating social media content and analyzing participation data. She has enjoyed connecting with her coworkers and is excited to continue her career path.

As a marketing intern at Securitas, Zachary Hamilton ’25 hopes to own his own business someday. His internship has taught him the critical relationship between marketing and sales.

As an intern for the U.S. Defense Services team at Rolls-Royce, Amelia Collier has lead projects, attended leadership training, and worked with a career mentor. She encourages her peers to continue learning outside the classroom.

Meet international student Felipe Reyes ’26 studying Software Engineering.

As Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Butler Ballet graduate, Hope Hagen has been inspired to pay it forward. In her role at Butler, she raises money for student scholarships to make current and future Bulldog’s dreams come true.

Abroad in France, Damian Boric ’27 chose a program that allowed him to combine his passions for theatre and travel. Taking classes and exploring Bordeaux and Paris, he is most proud of his self-confidence and artistic growth.

At Butler, we believe that experience is foundational to learning. As a media intern at Medxcel, Samantha Pumridge ’25 is applying the skills learned in her strategic communication courses to the “real world,” preparing her for a career in digital marketing.
