Three students from Butler University will participate in the Fulbright Summer Institute in the United Kingdom, one of the most prestigious and selective summer scholarship programs operating worldwide.

The 2016–2017 academic year began with the largest class ever—1,272 students—coming to Butler. It concluded with 955 newly minted graduates, two large gifts to the University, and the groundbreaking for a new housing facility to replace Schwitzer Hall.

Three Butler students took home awards at the Brenau Invitational Mediation Tournament, which gives participants practice with mediation techniques and conflict resolution. 

Longtime Butler faculty member and pioneering Indiana broadcaster Ann Wagner Harper ’63, MS ’68 died Thursday, October 13.
