Over the past three years, Britany Goodpaster has worked as a Sales Operation Manager in the Information Technology department. Working with Butler Ventures’s startup company, AvantBlue, she is proud to be at the forefront of the company, advancing technology in education through Indiana.

We are partnering with the LGBT Alumni Association to highlight members of Butler’s LGBTQ+ community. For Aaron Wright ’05 (He/Him), Pride Month means recognizing the LGBTQ+ community’s vital contributions and standing up against discrimination.

Now a Butler alum, Sara Moore will join the Physics Doctorate Program at the University of Rochester. She is grateful for Butler’s individualized support, which helped her complete three of her majors.

While excited to begin her professional career, recent graduate Leah Rubino encourages students to cherish every moment on campus. She is grateful for the relationships she has formed with classmates, professors, and lacrosse teammates.

During his time at Butler, Arie Likham felt welcomed and supported by every person he met. Feeling confident and prepared for graduate-level work, Arie will continue his education at the University of Pittsburgh.

Elie Heile says one of the best parts of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is the camaraderie and support between students. Soon after graduation, Elie will be moving to Minnesota to complete a pharmacy residency on the White Earth Reservation.

Reflecting on her Butler experience, Quinn Shanahan encourages new Bulldogs to trust their instincts and try new things. She is thankful for the Lacy School of Business’s flexibility, allowing her to identify her passion for International Business.

Butler provided Kenya Bustos-Diaz with the tools to be a confident teacher. Upon graduation, she plans to stay connected with the College of Education, mentor students, and continue conversations on the importance of representation.

As a Lacy School of Business student, Velin Georgiev feels well-equipped for his future, graduating with invaluable hands-on experience. Upon graduation, Velin will travel across the West Coast before joining Eli Lilly & Co. as a Pricing, Reimbursement, and Market Access (PRA) Associate.

Working in the Office of Budgets and Grants, Kathy Hankins oversees the annual University budgeting process. She feels inspired to make a difference, helping others become more financially aware.

Director of First-Year Experience, Nii Kpakpo Abraham, helps first-year students transition to Butler. He is proud of the growing collaborative spirit across campus to ensure students have the best experience.

As a Sports Media major, Jia Skrudland ’26 enjoys having behind-the-scenes looks of game days interning with the professional ice hockey team, Indy Fuel. As the Game Operations Intern, she helps ensure game and fan engagement activities run smoothly.
