As Assistant Project Manager in the Office of Strategy and Innovation, Carmela Williams must think outside the box to ensure Butler’s systems are the best they can be. She believes Butler is a great place to work because of its true community.

The 2024 Black History Month theme is “African American and the Arts.” Jordan College of the Arts’ Associate Professor of Dance, Ramon Flowers, is most proud of the Social Justice and Diversity (SJD) course he developed. He encourages students to use their voices and become the change they’d like to see.

Over the past several months, the Jordan College of the Arts (JCA) at Butler University has received more than $600,000 in grant funding from foundation partners in support of several of its community arts initiatives.
